Easy Upgrade/Humidity

Well, I have 2 cages. 1 is 16x16x30 and the other is 24x24x48. They both sit on the same stand side bu side w/ the shorter one on a stand to get the tops of the cages even(for my 4ft UVB bulb). So what I have done is I got a clear shower liner to put on the wall. Always hated it cause it looked like crap, so I decided to mount the shower liner onto my cages w. glue gun(gotta love glue guns) All I did was line outside of each cage side and the backs. The front and inside(where the two touch) are not lined. The smaller cage is lined about 2/3 of the way down and the larger one is about 1/2. I went from around 30-40 % humidity to 70-80% on initial spray. I will see how long it holds this. It also keeps any water at all getting on the wall or the floor.:D

If the shower curtain doesn't work out (melting, mildew, etc.), you might want to try some Coroplast. It's that corrugated plastic that they use for signs. It's cheap to buy and free around election time!

hey if that dosent work either you could always move to florida. its always like 60% here. lol thats with the AC on. outside for like 8 months its between 65-100%.
