sorry about all the bug questions

what are your guys' thoughts on feeding earthworms as a main feeder instead of crickets? i read they are similar to crickets with more protein and are good at controlling gout (if I remember correctly).

Not sure about whether they are better or not, but my old cham was never interested in them. Plus, they grossed me out

They're a safe feeder, but not ideal cos they're slimey which often means the tongue won't stick. Also, most chameleons don't like them. I always have a supply of giant lob worms for my axolotls but neelix would be most offended if I tried to give him 1!

I'm not sure what they're like in terms of nutrition, but nutritional value might be part of the reason why people don't seem to use them.

apparently good for calcium
hard to gutload, chams dont usually like them, high parasite potential.
