Earthworms showed up in enclosure....where did they come from?!?!

we found 3 small earthworms in our Cham cage today. We cannot figure out where they came from. Could they have been introduced in plant soil? We have had our new plants in there for about 2 months so this seems very out of the blue unless they have a hibernation or gestation period.
Anybody else experienced this?

Yes, earthworms are found in soil. They came from the soil put into your potted plant, assuming you have a live one. Earthworms can carry parasites but my chameleon ignores them because they just stay in the soil.
