ears?

i know this might sound silly but do chameleons have ear canals or something because i have looked and looked but dont seen any holes or anything like my geko had.

I dont think they have ears or can hear. I have read that they can feel vibrations. Dont quote me on that.

I think they have a inner ear, but no outer or middle ear!?

So yeah, they hear vibrations, but if you clap your hands really loud
when they arent looking, they will not turn their heads

Lol Psychobunny. Yes they have an inner ear, with no opening. Nobody is sure how much they 'hear' by vibration. They sure don't hear well though

It's funny, Max will be looking away when I have a treat worm for him in my hand, and I'll say "Max! Look at me!" With no success. Funny, now I know the reason!! Either that or he thinks I'm boring.
