Early stages of MBD?

Here's something odd, we just rescued a male 8 month veiled cham - his previous owners were absolutely horrid with his needs. Now, he has some pretty tell tale signs of very very early mbd, and since I've only dealt with pretty severe cases, anyone mind sharing their routine? This guy is as strong as ever, pulling himself onto the ceiling of his enclosure with just one arm. However this happens ONLY when he's on the ceiling - his hands will shake like crazy when he's grasping for the wire mesh. He has no deformities to speak of, nor is he difficult in anyway - just shaking in a very specific location, under specific circumstances. Odd right? Anyways, I can't very much think of another reason he would be shaking besides having developed early stages of mbd. Any thoughts?

His fecal and eating habits are very normal as well.

Uh oh my little guy will climb tot he top and hang like yours but his feet shake a little when he is walking upside down. I just assumed it was he trying to get footholds since he was walking on mesh. I'll definitely have to take my little guy to the vet .
