Early signs of gout?

Just wanted to check in and see if theb sides of his spine look normal or showing signs of gout? He's gone through a period of sometimes sleeping during the day, then other days looking totally fine!

TIA!

Normally gout appears in the ankle area, I don't really see anything wrong with his back as you mentioned. My concern would be sleeping during the day, double check all the temp and humidity numbers both night and day to see if they match up with the guild you are using.

Are you meaning Edema? You see edema around the neck area but not gout. From the angle of these pics there is no sign of edema.

Sleeping during the day indicates something is off. This is when double checking all husbandry and when you replaced UVB last is a good idea. Next if food intake has decreased you want to get a fecal to check for a parasite load.

We've been struggling to get the daytime humidity under 60%, night time I mist before bed (after lights out) and before lights on. I ordered an automatic mister online but it isn't remembering the settings (as it claimed it would) thus not coming on through the night. It almost seems like his light cycles are off, he almost sleeps in? Seems so healthy otherwise

I had seen someone else's post recently where there was a ridge along the side of the spine, wanted to make sure that was nothing of concern. I think it was a post on a FB group. Our daytime humidity is around 60, don't know how to get it lower. We live in South Carolina. I got him in August and the bulb was purchased new at that time - as far as I know at least. He's still eating like a champ and seems good otherwise. Strong grip but he hangs out mostly on the highest vine that is nearly vertical. His light cycles have been changed a bit recently but he almost seems to be slow to wake up, especially if it's cloudy outside. By early afternoon he's brightly colored and active
