i have a veiled male, hes about 4 months now had him for 1.5 months. anyways i have my lights on timers, 8am to 9pm, but lately hes been going to sleep an hour early? normal? is he getting used to the cycle? whatsup? he did this today and 2 days ago, idk if hes done it before without me knowing though

I suspect it's normal, mine does this too. He will move to his sleeping spot an hour early and then pretty much fall completely asleep half an hour early.

Dear forum members, if this isn't normal, please let us know!

I live in Tampa and my male Ambanja is headed dwen into the darkness of his enclosure by 6:00 PM nightly.

By 6:30 he is snoring!

I was hoping he would get used to our HOME HOURS rather than the hours of his previous location, but so far, he hasn't.

Maybe he'll become a night owl like me in the future!

I have my female Jackson's on a 6am-6pm cycle and by 4:00pm she's at her favorite sleeping spot and has her eyes closed. No matter what she goes to sleep around 4pm. It kind of upsets me because I never get to see her awake and active when I'm home from work... Why does she sleep so early???????????

My veiled goes to lay down about 30 mins before lights out but.never falls asleep with lights on. I have her basking light turn off 30 mins before to stimulate dusk and shell cruise to her spot right.before then:)
