Dwarf Jacksons chameleon care

If you simply look up "dwarf jacksons chameleon care" or "dwarf jacksons chameleon care sheet" I am sure you will find a few helpful sites and videos. Prior to beginning to purchase any chameleon supplies, I did this until I was positive I knew all I had to and was ready to provide proper care for the chameleon I am interested in. (Definitely took at least a month or two.. I still visit these forums frequently to continue learning new and helpful tips) Good luck! :)

Does anyone have any successful ways to care for dwarf jacksons chameleons

Yes, their care is identical to the other two jacksonii subspecies except that they eat less because they're smaller. They are also known as Mt. Meru Jackson's chameleons with the scientific name merumontanus. Do you have some already?

Thanks for chiming in, and quickly :).

Like @MeruJack said, just a sub specifies that eats less. Otherwise, similar care. Keep their basking and ambient temp low, give them a good night temperature drop , and be easy with the supplementation . Though they're smaller, I do suggest to still keep them separated. They're neat little chams.

Hello. I have kept and breed Merumontanus, one of my favorite species :) Very personal and "enjoy" human company, or at least they are not bothered.
Have never kept the larger Jacksonii, but I have heard that the larger are more tolerant to higher night temperatures than Meru. I kept my Meru very cool at night around 8-15 C and occasionally the temp could drop even lower. I kept them outside in the summer (Danish summer is around 20 C in the day and 10-15 C in the night, so they had heating bulbs in the day). Good luck, its a lovely species!
