Dumbest chameleon keeper in the world

You have got to hear this. An experienced keeper had a gravid female. The chameleon didn't lay in the bin in the cage so it was removed to the trash can laying bin. When cleaning the cage and removing the laying bin the "experienced keeper" found the eggs laid in the pot with the ficus tree. The poor little chameleon was let out of the trash can and put into her cage. Now is that dumb or what.

I swear I did not realize she had laid those eggs - she still looks like a house.:(:(

That's funny, as I was reading along I thought, that doesn't seem very nice that could happen to any of us. Then read it was you:) Glad you found them!

There is always one stubborn, difficult, rebelious cham that is sent to test us and keep us grounded and you have got yours.

I think you need to take your own advice and need to cook some spaghetti and beat her with a wet noodle......you are a great keeper :)

The females certainly like to stress us to the max, eh Laurie?! She obviously felt that you knew everything about her and she would show you just what being different looks like!! :D I am complete wreck when I have a laying female.

%#+!$ envy

Sadly these are from Jet and she has never seen a male quad let alone get near one. As an experience keeper I think they are infertile.:(

Ahhh... That's why you keep coveting other peoples four-horned males....

I got one right now torturing me... She dug a tunnel to hades yesterday and it still wasnt too her liking. If she dont lay in the bin by Sat then she goes to the trash can. I told her she better quit fooling around....:D

LOL, Laurie you just forgot to put your glasses on, right? Or you couldn't find them because they were on top of your head, I hate that. :D

Aww, just because she's taking a while to lay her eggs doesn't mean you should throw her away :p.

I was gonna say 'this doesn't sound too odd....' My female panther laid a clutch in her hibiscus plant pot. She never looked all that gravid... it was neat to find the eggs. All but two were bad. The two that were good were in the middle of the 'nest' away from the dirt and up against the side of the pot. Sneaky little girl.
