dug but didnt lay

My female wouldnt go lay so i changed the pot with pothos to a trash can with the pothos... she still wouldnt lay so i put a sheet to cover the cage n finally after three days i couldn't see her through the sheet so i peeked n she did a hole n backed up into it.. but i dont know if i scared her or i didn't look good enough but i didn't see eggs... Im scared that i might of scared her n destroyed her tunnel that she won't lay eggs... any advice or help...

Leave her alone for 12 hours. When you see her up near the basking light (skinny) with a dirty nose, you'll know there's eggs buried somewhere.

Thats exactly how she was... dirt all over her body in face.... i wish i could a pic of her but i dont know how to post a pic of her

Did she fill the hole back in?

Was she out of the hole?

Skinny looking?

Sometimes they don't have dirt on them. Mine never did. Mine didn't look all that skinny, either, but my three clutches were only 12, 14 and 16 eggs.
