Dubias or lobster??

I use both.
My recommendation would kind of depend on how many lizards you are trying to feed and whether or not you are keeping the roaches in your house or some place else.

Lobsters are great if you need a lot of roaches because they are prolific and hardy. That is also why I only keep them and feed them to lizards in the lizard building- not allowed in my house. They can also climb smooth surfaces and are very hardy (mine do fine during lizard brumation in the building when temps range in the 50s and 60s and still reproduce during that time).

Dubia are a lot easier to deal with. They cannot climb smooth surfaces so they are easy to contain. They are hardy enough to survive low temperatures, but they don't breed and produce young when temperatures are cool (even at normal room temperature around 70).

I breed dubia, hissers, and lobsters. dubia are the only ones allowed to feed animals in my home.
