dubia table scraps

Are table scraps an ok idea for feeding dubia (not as gutload for feeders, but for growing colony)? My colony is eating me out of house and home!

I would say sure. If they aren't being fed off, they can essentially eat anything I would immagine. Maybe someone else has a good reason not to, but they breed like crazy when they eat sweet things and protein.

Howdy,

In addition to Cricket Crack, my colony gets cantalope rinds, corn cob, peach pits, banana peels, apple trimmings etc. If they eat it, great. If not, it gets pulled and tossed.

They eat anything. I forgot to feed my colony for a while when I was sick and they ate the egg flats. Just make sure it isn't toxic or have anything in it that might stay in the roaches body and harm your chameleon.
