I have some Dubia roaches in my Jackson's terrarium in a feeder cup. Do you think that's a good idea and there's one in the Tupperware container and it's fully white. What does this mean? Any ideas
As long as they are small enough for him (no bigger then the space between his eyes) they should be fine. I feed mine out of an old sherbert cup. They don't tend to climb really well, but they can get out if they are determined. I've never heard of them attacking a cham, and mine love to hunt them when they get loose
As for the white one, while it's creepy looking, it's just shed. Mine gobble those up in a heart beat. I guess they must be flavored cause they eat them the way I do candy
I keep dubias in a feeder cup as well, I just make sure if waldo does not eat them that I switch them out with some gut loaded ones daily. The white means it recently molted.
Just make sure if you have a mister that the cup has holes in it or a screen bottom or the Dubia will drown.
