Dubia fine in Florida

I asked this question in another post earlier tonight and didn't get a response so I figured starting my own thread would be the best way to get a good answer. I'm sure most of you already know that Dubia breeders will not ship to Florida but luckily for me I have someone in my area that breeds his own so I bought some a while ago and now have my own colony of more then 500. My question is does anyone know what the fine is if you were to get caught with some, or is there even a fine at all. I have also been told that you cant ship them to Florida but if you already have them here you cant get in trouble with them. Just looking for some clarification I guess. Cant seem to find anything on the internet about it so if you have any info or a first hand experience with this and would like to share I would appreciate it

Not sure what the penalty is but my vet told me that you can get a license to breed and keep them. He has hissers that he uses when he gives presentations at schools and things. I figured there would be no point in doing this though because the chances of getting cought are slim to none.

Are you getting yours from Mike in Melbourne? He's great to get feeders from localy. I used to go to him a lot before I moved across the state a few months ago.

I'd be interested in finding out what the penalties are as well lol I'll google it meanwhile.

Edit - I've looked around and haven't found any penalties yet. I've see the guidelines and such (although not many of the documents are loading correctly on my comp) but nothing about the punishment/penalties. I assume you'd get fined, but I haven't see anywhere that says that.

-Yep I got mine from mike because he's only about 4 miles away from me. I also bought my 2 chams from him
