Dry skin/No shed

Hey guys! I've been a little concerned with Bodhi my 2 month old Veiled. His skin has seemed pretty dry for the past week or so. He hasn't shed since I bought him . I've been closely watching thinking maybe he was going to but still no luck. His humidity never drops below 60% and his temp is in the 80's. I had to switch his lights up after I bought a digital thermometer. They were a little higher than I would like them to be after I got a good read. Damn those cheap thermometers. I figure he will shed that skin in the next week or two anyways but I'm a concerned mother. He is very hydrated with white urate and seems to be thermoregulating pretty well. Anything I can do for him? Would you guys consider this harmful or should I just wait for his next shed? Thanks.

Can you post a pic?
Chams can get dry looking skin and look pale and washed out for a good week or so when they are about to shed. Just try a warm shower which might help to jumpstart his shedding.

Thanks. I appreciate your help. Since he is so young I wasn't sure if he would look ghostly for a week. I thought the process might be a little bit faster than that. That's a relief! I will try to get a pic up. My iPhone shattered this morning so I don't know if it will work but I'll try.

Shedding, for a juvenile, is sort of like a ride at Disneyland....you know it's going to happen because you got in the line...but you wait, you wait, you wait....

Then is happens and it takes like 3 minutes and it's over.

Haha! That's what it feels like! All of the posts I read said that it was usually quick. And that he might even do a full body shed in one piece. So I didn't think he would work up to it for a week. I will feel a lot better once he does! All of his "firsts" are going to be a rollercoaster ride for me.
