iv noticed my baby yeamon has got a strange brown bit which seems to be comeing out of him just towards the back of his mid section its been there for a few days and hasnt seemed to bother him as he is eating and drinking normaly any sugestions??

A bit Under hydrated possibly. Mist more, use a dripper, gutload its food with fresh fruit/veg for moisture, feed moist bugs/worms for a while.

And dont try to pull it out!

hehe Please get rid of the fountain. Just mist him as often as you can. mist for at least 3 minutes straight. and yes, a dripper is great.

but it sounded like this poop is not coming from his bum..... is it?

If he is still very young he might have a bit of umbilical cord stuck to him. But those ususally fall off within the first days or weeks. I would not pull it off.

He looks pretty young. I think Juli is right about it being an umbilical cord.... But he has to be pretty young for it to still be there. How long have you had him? Do you know his hatch date?

iv had him for 6 weeks and they told me he was very young but he did not have this when i first got hiim as i checked him over when i first got him and to make sure he is health he seems fine and has been hunting and drinking normaly and is quiet active could it be todo with mateing or anything like that

Now ive seen the pic I have to Agree, almost certainly Umbilical material, probably simply glued itself to his belly, unless, as stated its very young. (looks it/size dificult to ascertain) Definately DONT try to pull it off. If its quite dry, you could either mist, or better, dab softly with a wet cottonball a few times a day, untill you can determin weather its just dried stuck on cord, or is infact hernia.
A vet check couldnt hurt.

Re read edit: Way too young to do with mating, wrong place anyway If it wasnt there when you got it, and its not dried bug guts, then you definately need to have a vet take a look. Something is wrong! Probably umbilical rupture, (thin skin over healed area has split after contact with something, and whats emerged has dried and the wound partially rehealed) is my guess.
