Dry out a meal worm bed

I put a paper towl over my meal worms, and it held in the moisture alittle too well. Now they are swimming in hunks of oatmeal like things instead of a sea of bran. Is there any thing i can do to crumple it up/dry it out? I kinda feel bad for the little guys, and the bed is only 3 weeks old.

Could you pour it all on a cookie sheet (with a raised edge, obviously) and leave them in a warm place? If the weather was nice I'd pt them outside but I think perhaps some sun coming in through a window will do too maybe. Or place them under a lamp. You don't want to bake them but the little bit of heat with the bedding spread out thinly will make it dry out in a short amount of time.

That's all I can come out with, anyway!

Oh its a wide variety of stuff, I just call it the bran bedding. I think im just going to pick all the little guys out, and feed the bedding to the dubia, then start over with fresh bedding again.
