Drowning?

For some reason the accumilation of water in my tank constantly drowns my crickets (which are in a cup) so they don't hide but the water running off the leaves keeps drowning them and I'm going through crickets like crazy. Any suggestions?

maybe set up the feeding cup by attaching it to the side of the enclosure next to a branch or foliage so that it doesnt catch run off and your cham can still find its food :)

I know!! Haha ill probably have to get another cup for him so I can dust then pour. His cage is covered in leaves, vines, and sticks

Drill holes in the bottom of your food cup. small enugh that bugs stay in, but big enough water comes out.

also drill from inside the dish to the outside, so the plastic pushs out, which will allow water to drain.

As long as you are looking to improve your cup, why not make the Sunny D DIY cup, and do the bottom in screen?

Screen is definitely the way to go. It makes a huge difference in drainage. I have not had one drowning death since transitioning to screen. Also, moving it to the side and out of the way of misting definitely helps as well. You don't want the supplements to be washed away either.
