dropped my cham

Given todays pathetic rate of illiteracy, anything more than a sentence with words more than a few letters is considered 'wordy' :)
They may well fall on occasion in the wild, and the rib cage may be designed to spread the area of impact and limit shock, BUT, they dont fall on hardwood/tile floors, leaflitter is soft.

Almost everyone includes too many words in their usage to say a couple of words. WORDY. I noticed the difference.

This is an INTERNATIONAL forum with non-English speaking members. Not everyone is a texting fool. Correct usage, basic grammar, complete thoughts, and a bit of courtesy help everyone.

THANK YOU! I get very annoyed with people using text slang etc.

I think we need to be able to accept varied posting methods. I'll admit that a totally chatspeak post rubs me wrong. However, I wouldn't let that stop me from trying to help the person.

I'm sure Leilaskeeper is not the only one who finds my posts annoying. I know that I tend to bring in personal references which might not be completely on topic.

I just think that others might be like me: dealing with chameleons as "new pets" so references to other commonly owned pets could be reassuring.

The new chameleon owner might well have had several hamsters/mice/guinea pigs so be able to relate the experiences with the first animal to the new animal.

Just as it was not a disaster when Lulu the hamster fell off the dryer, it was not a disaster when the chameleon fell from a 4 foot height...but, just as we kept an eye on Lulu, so should the owner of the chameleon keep an eye on him/her, just in case something shows up later.

Remembering that your animal has taken a fall recently is pretty basic as 'something to be aware of" regardless of how it is presented.
