since if moved my male veiled chameleon
8 months old.. from glass
to screen big size..
he changed allot!!
more active! running round like mad!
still very handable.. :D
but since he is shedding now for the second time since i have him..
he has a bit droopey eyes..
i feed him calcium whitout every feed
and twice a month with 3d
and twice a month multivitamins
i feed him mostly every day...
mostly crickets and locust...
and sometimes a waxmoth

as for lightning i use a 5.0 uvb lamp repti glo in a exo terra
cano single lamp..
and a house bulb for basking 25 watss..

its a bit dark in on the outisde of the enclosure..
and in the middle very bright because of the uvb and basking are in the middle
timer is set going on at 8 in the morning and going of at 9 in the evening
anyone can tell me whats wrong? further he drinks eats.. not eating much..
last 3 weeks just 1 locust and some 2 crickets a day..
and he is very tameable likes to shower with me sometimes..

Advice!? thx :D:D

this is him few days ago..
chilling :D

It may also mean that he is tired and wants to go to bed earlier than 9. I would turn lights on at 7:30 a.m. and off at 7:30 p.m.

That means he is dehydrated, up the mistings and dripper time

Agree. In the photo his eyes look sunken. You did not mention the relative humidity level in the cage. Check it carefully multiple times a day between your misting times. It may be a lot drier than you realize. A dehydrated cham won't eat much or at all.

ermmm at 40% of the cage.. that is from the bottom messured..
its 85% .... but thats higher ofc.. because i suppose..
thats where all the water comes down.. or atleast close to it..
when it was at the top i messured in a corner.. far away from where it sprays around 70ies 80ies....

well the sunken eyes.. is realy strange... because he doenst have those..
his eyes are nice bulby and out.. not inside...

but he finnaly drinks after 1 month.. atleast i see him drink
he did in his old closeur.. but he needs to get used i gues.. dripper is there
and i spray every hour 15 secs...
from til morrow... to see if he will do better...
old times where every 3 hours 15 secs spraying...

so and il will set the timer to tommorw so he could sleep 1 hour earlier..!
thx for the great advice!! thxx mate!! realy love my veiled!
he is realy sweet!! sometimes he is a bit grumpy.. but that is mabye 3 days in a month haha !!

from the picture the eye socket is not completely filled out. Yes, they are bubbled out but he still looks a little dehydrated.
