Dripping system! Crickets! Cham!?

Ehh, it might be small, but you never know. Apparently they leak an estrogen like toxin, but they don't know if/to what degree it affects the body yet. More research is being conducted.

Might as well try to stay on the cautious side chameleons don't need anymore man made chemicals and what not in their lives. Or at least, that's just my opinion.

Don't worry guys! I was suppose to get $200 for christmas. I already got $100 and spent it on the chameleon and bulbs. I have $100 coming and going to buy a dripper, more live plants, and calcium supplements.

What else could I buy???


BTW!
I researched why my chameleon has alittle bit of white crust around his nose. I heards its over supplement but I'm not using anything yet? How can this be? How do I get it off without bothering him?

If he was over supplemented before you bought him that could be the problem, but I don't know how long you've had him. It could also be salt deposites which is normal.

Buy different kinds of feeders

I got him Dec. 04 and about the feeders.
I searched those roaches and aren't they too big for my chameleon now? I also seen lobster roaches, they look alittle smaller. What should I do if I dont want to keep a colony. I might wait til he is bigger to have a colony.

If you want a colony for when he's bigger, buy it now. They take a couple months to really start reproducing. The roach nymphs (babies) are bor about 1/4 inch long and large female can be 2 inches long. There's every size in between too, so just look at some pics and check out the sizes. You can also ask the person you buy from what they recommend. Also, roaches are kind of expensive so it kinda kills you if you have to continually buy them.

Dubias can't climb smooth surfaces, I believe lobster roaches can. Sooooo... It's up to you Might wanna make sure though... Try buying silkworms too!

I know what estrogen is, thank you very much. I was simply stating that is secretes a man made estrogen like toxin. They don't know if this toxin is affecting us negatively or at all. I hope you know that men have estrogen too, not just women. Just like how women have testosterone. Too much estrogen in men is a problem you know. If you're ignorant enough to think that estrogen only causes breast growth then I think you are the one who should think before you post.

Seriously!!!! I just joined and honestly from what I've seen some of the senior members aren't very friendly here....

the senior members seem to argue amongst each other WAY to much. I think that pssh was just being helpful by answering every post and she knew exactly what she was talking regarding estrogen leaking from the plastic in bottle water. Pssh, Folk here dont always understand my humour, too many levels. Suffice to say, I wasnt attacking you, I really was Laughing my *** off! No, you dont have to provide a link to be right, but if you aim to be informative it helps!
Seriously, why would rabbit on about such a long shot, Im betting
most keepers here use man made equipment of some description or
another, all of which may do the same thing. Nearly everything in
your home from furniture to carpets apparently gives off carcinogenic
chemicals/compounds to some degree.
The OP just wanted to know how to make a good dripper, he dosent
need to know how to make his lizard immortal.
If you worry on about the dangers of plastics, you may aswell
not keep lizards.
Its 2009, not 2209. Get a grip is all im saying, stay real.
Most new folk have enough difficulty keeping their lizard alive let alone
worrying a plastic bottle might give it cancer.
Some folk here just get carried away with it.
And regards being nice Jaxy, I generally agree, but from time to time Im
known to be human. You should ditch your halo.
