After Earl was introduced to his new cage, I had to move the dripper. Right away, as soon as he saw the black hose move closer to where he was, he fired up for the first time. Skin under neck was expanded and he did his best to make himself look bigger. He would stare at it and then rock front and hold, then back.

I guess I got a live one.

Feisty! You can remove the black hose and just let it drip through the screen on the top of the cage.

Sounds like an instinctual predator response. Maybe he thought it was a snake.
