dripper trey

i need some help ...i need some ideas on how to put a dripper trey under my wooden cage...some pics would really help too...thanks...oh yeah ind the cages are in my room on top of drawers...

It works best to place the cage over something that is easily drained. First you don't want wood sitting in water, will rot in no time! And I found out that a tray alone is not that good, you have to move the whole cage to drain excess water. So I found you need easy to drain water that is not connected to the cage. A cheap wire shelf sold at most big hardware stores with a bucket under it works great. Whole setup is around twenty dollars at at Walmart, lowes, etc. they do sell these rabbit cage trays at Tractor Supply that will work for setting your cage in if that is the route you go. Are you talking a whole tray to catch and drain excess misting water or just to catch dripper water? I never mist my cage to the level of needing a drain system, it gets damp but drys before the next timed misting. To catch dripper water I use a tupperware container with a screen top, and it has a drain tube that leads to an empty 1 gallon milk container. I actually reuse this water a couple times if he hasnt pooped on the screen

yeah i spray the cage pretty good and my cages are both pretty bigg...i have something catching the water from the dripper...
