dripper cleaning?

What is the best way to clean a dripper? I made mine out of a 1/2 gal. milk jug and the inside is turning a yellowish. How can I clean it without using a cleaner that could be harmful to my chameleon? Can I run it thru the dishwasher once a week? Should I use bleach and then rinse very well? Maybe vinegar? Or should I just invest in a bottle cleaner and scrub it really well once or twice a week?

I would scrub it with HOT water. About as hot as you can handle without getting burned. That should do the trick. I wouldn't, but you could use a mild soap, just make sure to rinse it very well. I think the dishwasher would be too hot during the sanitizer cycle, and damage the container.
