Recently I purchased a misting system from Mist King( Frickin awesome! The misting system is set to go off 4 times a day for 30 seconds each time. Should i still have a dripper set up for him to drink between mistings?

i usually mist for about 3 minutes and really soak the cage. 30 seconds does not seem long enough at all. I would up the length of that and still add the dripper.

Will do. Thanks for the help. I am a first time cham owner and love it. I see more chameleons in my future and will probably have a ton more questions to go with them lol

I didnt use a dripper. The mistking was soaking the mess out of the cages so in order for the cage to dry out in-between mistings, I didn't use a dripper. All chams urates are as white as can be.

i thirst ALL of my herps by the mist method. Even my leopard gecko and ameiva which are known for having water dishes in their enclosures, drink mist water. All of which are very well hydrated.

My multituberculta, which is a high humidity species, and drinks frequently, still stays sufficiently hydrated, with only 25minutes of total daily misting. and he in fact is still thriving amazing.
