Drinking Question?

Kinda posted this on another guys thread, but just so it has its own.

I just got my chams and I really don't know how to hydrate them yet :/ I have my custom humidifier on their cage, and it has huge tubes that sit on the roof. They humidify the air, but since they are against the mesh, they also cause large droplets to fall for the full hour that its running (every 5 hours). I've never seen mine drink, but I figured it was good enough since they can sit underneath it and droplets fall onto the leaves. Thoughts?

Do you hand mist at all? If you're concerned I would try that, but I very rarely see my girl drink, but she certainly does. You can actually tell by their feces. If their feces has a bit of a white top to it, it means they are drinking. ^_^

There feces are a solid dark with a little white or slightly yellow bit. Once its been somewhat clear, but recently its been pretty solid.

The feces is brown and solid and the urate (urine) is white. If the urate has orange then the Cham is dehydrated. The eyes and skin is another indication. The eyes will form dark circles and get sunken in. The skin may become wrinkly ( that can also happen right before a shed) It is good to either hand mist 3 times a day or have a misting system, aside from the humidifier.
