Drinking from still water?

Hey guys I just saw my chameleon drink from one of my little water cups. My little drip system drops the water droplet into the leaf then it slides down into my little cup so my cage won't get super soaked making the water in the bottom move into little waves allowing him to see it. and I just saw him go down there, shoot his tongue in there and drink some water . Should I be worried (stupid question) or is this fine for a chameleon to drink from still water? I change that water every day though since the cup gets pretty filled

I wouldn't be worried about it. As you know he does it, I would keep an eye out for poop in the water and if you see that, remove the cup and clean thoroughly before replacing it. I'd also suggest washing the cups periodically now that you know he'll drink from them.

Ah, but it WASN'T still...it rippled with the drippies. No worries, your cham is exploring his environment and making the most of it.
