drank alot of water

my male panther is almost 2 yrs old. i saw him drinking from the dripper for 10 min, just letting it go in his mouth. i never saw him do this. when he was done he puked up water and phoinex worms which i just started feeding to him 2 days ago. he seems to be ok, but is acting strange roaming all over cage like he wants to come out. i did see him rubbing his eyes againt the screen also. could there be something wrong, thanks tino442

Hi, This usually happens to a dehydrated chameleon. They will literally drink themselves into oblivion if it is administered to fast. Im not sure if there is any underlining care needs that need to be met or maybe some underlying issue causing the chameleon to want to drink more than usual.

Id recommend setting the dripper to a slower drip interval, bring the humidity up just a tad and mist for longer session multiple times a day.

he pooped tody and it was orange. he has been drinking more. i orderred horn worms today. i will keep up the misting. thanks
