drainage system

hey i have a mesh cage by lllreptiles and i was wondering of a good way for a drainage system since it is mesh and not a solid screen cage. ive been looking on this site treads about it but everyone has a solid screen cage

I built a box that my cage sits in and stapled presentation board in at angels directing water to rear center and then fiber glassed over it and all of the inside to water proof it and put a 3/8 quick connect to drain the water into a container. I drilled the drain plug low so the hole was flush to the bottom of the box so water would not puddle or have to build up to start draining. Also used the resin in the hole before I put the drain plug in to protect the wood from water.
