Drainage System

can anybody show me or tell me how to make a drainage system for my 24x24x48 cage.

Some people get fancy, My cage is on plastic shelves with holes, I drilled holes in the bottom of the cage where the water puddles and put a rubbermade container underneath and POW! Drainage system!

I use a rubbermaid too. My enclosure sits on bricks inside the rubbermaid. I haven't drilled holes since my guys tiny crickets might escape so I have his enclosure slightly tilted so water drains off.

I cut a hole in an end table that the cage sits on and drilled 5-6 holes into the bottom of his cage (i have an aluminum screen cage) and then made a drawer with a rubbermaid container and some brackets. it works well for me, i have to empty it kind of often though. i can post pics later if you want them. before i was continually drying out his cage with towels it was awful so considering the alternative it has been a nice addition. I think it might have been easier to just place a bucket under the table but his cage is in my room and this way looks a little bit better.

On the PVC bottom you can make it concaved. Take the bottom and lay it over your kitchen sink. Take out your hair dryer and go at it! Use high heat at close range for about 2 -3 minutes. This should create a concave mountain. Let it set for about five minutes then drill some holes in the bottom!

I have plexiglass covering the bottom of my wood cages with a lip on it. It collects all the water and it evaporates.
