Drainage system

I'm currently trying to run my dripper most of the day so that my female veiled chameleon can drink because I never see her drink. I don't have a drainage system set up so for now the water collects at the bottom and into a plant and drains onto a towel on the floor. This causes my humidity levels to go up and I'm wondering if this is the reason my chameleons shed hasn't changed for about a week. I know they are dry shedders but they still have to drink. I live in alabama so the humidity and temperatures can get slightly higher but I I my best to keep Temps in low 80s and humidity around 50 during the day but the bottom humidity likes to spike to 70. How should I go about a drainage system? Or should I do something else to prevent this.
