i'm getting a 2x2x4 screen cage for my cham i'm just wondering is there away to make a easy drainage system for it? i'm also getting a mistking so i don't want the water to overflow. any help is appreciated.

You just knock/drill holes in the bottom.

I personally like to take a 1/4 drill bit, and make a bunch of little holes, in a drain pattern (circle).

Then, put a rubbermaid tub underneath to catch the water. :)

Incase it does not click.. put the cage on a storage rack or something like that that doesn't have a solid bottom.

Youll need drainage one way or another.

Theres no other way to handle the amount of water youll be putting through the cage.

If you are prepared to drill the table, then so be it.

Keep in mind that a large central hole in the table, with a smaller diameter drainage hole(and or hole pattern) would be best.

You dont (likely) want the water to come in contact with the table.

It will eventually warp, and ruin the table.

I like the cheap metal shelves for this reason.

They eventually rust a bit, but thats all, and they are cheap.

They just dont look very fancy...
