I just looked at a members new enclosure he built for the veiled he's getting. He built it on top of a drainage tub, it looks really nice. i was just wondering, is there that much water run off that a drain is needed? I just built my cage and I have no drain, just plastic lined bottom.

Well depends on how much mist or drip you are putting onto your cage. But yes most likely
Its easy though, drill some holes in the middle and lift the cage up on some kind of legs or blocks, weight down the center with plants and the wa ter will go to the center and will drain.! Hope I could be of some help
