ok so everyone is doing it so i will too.
i didnt like the pvc becuase it always had some sort of water left on it.
no matter if it was a drop or more. i used to mess around with it
all the time getting the weight of the plants balanced with rocks so that the
water will still go to the center.
so i tried to get rid of it and i got a stand that would compensate for it.
i bought a rinorack and it was $40 at menards.
its 24''x36''x up to 72''
so you really have two stands here becuase you can make as many racks as
you want.
i took my bottom out of my cage and bought metal screen.
i cit the screen to be about 26''x26''. nothing better then a little over hang.
i put the cage right on the screen and the plants right on the screen.
the screen is there because i dont want any bugs or cham feet to fall threw
the holes. i would like poo to but thats to hard to get by itself.
i then got some extra shower curtain i have for protecting my wall
and i ziptied it to the plastic poles that hold up the cage. put a rock
in the center of the shower curtain with a hole and then presto.
i have no leeks anywhere because it is all cought by the shower curtain.
i can spray any amount i want in there and all the excess will flow right out
threw the screen or out the side with no problem.
the most expensive thing was the rack but i got two or three racks out of
it (depending on the size of the racks) so it was worth it.
