Draco has a date coming over

My neighbor is a large scale reptile breeder. Their male ambilobe is showing NO interest in the the ladies at all (all he wants to do is eat), so they are bringing over a female in the next few days to see if Draco would be interested. In exchange they will give me a female from the clutch they have in the incubator right now.

I have been looking for a female close by. I didn't know my neighbors had any panthers for breeding (they usually breed jacksons and veileds) . The panthers they normally have are WC ones to sell right away. Plus they never sell direct, only to pet stores or reputable breeders. I think I am very lucky!!!

Sounds like a decent deal. I have a friend who brings his female panther by for dates with my boy Gizmo

She was non-receptive. Also he was really shy. He would go to the opposite side of the branch and peek at her from there.

GOOD LUCK to the couple and hope they become entwined.

I took my male Ambanja to breed with a gorgeous Ambilobe female and all they did was stare at each other.

This went on for a week and a half and nothing.

They put him in with her and then put her in with him...same results...ZERO!

We are assuming that she was receptive as she didn't make any efforts to scurry away, instead, she just stayed in place.

As said earlier...try, try again!

They are going to try again with their own male in about a week they said.
If he still shows no interest then they will bring her back over here.
