Dose anyone elses chameleon chew on branches!

My 6 month old male panther has been chewing on his branches lately. Iv raised Vaileds befor and Iv never seen this type of behavor? Any ideas why he would do this? Everything else seems to be normal and hes qiute healthy... Thank you guys so much youv always been helpful!

My panther has never done this but sometimes they chew out of curiosity, if there is nothing loose or can easily be pulled off and swallowed, don't worry, he'll grow out of it

are they real or fake? ... my veiled will eat any real plant he goes near...no matter if its the trunk to a tree or just the leaves

The tree branches are the only things he chews on and yes there real. I havent seen him chew on any of the fake plants or the real one for that matter!! I just thought it was kind of strange. I was wondering if he was missing some sort of nutrient in his diet or somthing . I give him his vitamans and clacium and his d3.

sounds like my veiled. ive just learned to not use real plants with him because he will litterally destroy eveything real in his cage. he never has tried that with his fake plants tho.

It seems to be a common thing for panthers to chew on branches. I have no idea why they do it though.
