Does your chameleon "nap"

Well I've noticed that throughout the time Ive had my chameleon, he will sometimes be caught in doing something, like moving around or what not, and then he just closes both eyes and seems to sleep. but he will re open them whenever there is movement around him, like if i walk up to the cage. its funny cuz he will sometimes be in the middle of his stride and go to sleep. does anyone else's chameleons take these quick naps?

oh and everything in his environment is normal like lighting, temps, etc.

Can you fill out the how to askfor help form? Sleeping during the day means there is something wrong.

It is not normal for a Chameleon to "nap" during the day and is a sign of sickness. Have you filled out the questionaire? Pictures are always great!

Sounds like he is just trying to hide from you, one of my chameleons does this whenever my niece comes into my room (she can be loud and jumpy at times). If its just short pauses like that it isn't anything to worry about.

This is the "How to ask for help" form that was talked about a few posts ago.
