Does your Chameleon catch prey by-hand?

First time I’ve seen this... One of my adult Panther Chameleons (Skittles) grabbed his prey by-hand before biting it.

Yep, his tongue is working fine... Honestly, I think it was more accidental than purposeful. He was hanging upside down in an awkward position while trying to stabilize himself (to shoot his tongue) but ended up grabbing the prey item instead of a nearby vine.
