Not the best picture. The top of the Urate is orange and blotchy...It's not blood, but I was still concerned. If necessary I will provide the health care sheet, but I was more so trying to define this as a problem before we go about trying to figure out the cause. After he "shat", he had a stringy piece of poo hanging from his bum. Also, below the Urate (the condensed brown/black piece) had a jelly like film around it? All seemed very strange. Does anyone have any prognosis as to what this might mean?

Sorry about that, I'm new to posting pics on here

Maybe this time it works?

I'm "hoping" he is just dehydrated, and it's not parasitic :/ I'll give him a shower and water him more frequently in the next few weeks, hopefully that will do it.

Does anyone know if there is a parasite that makes the Urate orange? I'm aware that it is a common side effect of dehydration, but what possible parasites could have the same "orange urate" side effect?

The reason I doubt the possibility of dehydration is that he drinks often, gets misted minimally of 3 times a day, and his defecate isn't dry. It isn't runny by any means, it just has a jelly membrane at the base of the Urate. I'm currently searching for vets that I could take a sample to, but no luck yet :/

I can't help on the poop except to say it looks a bit odd. I would be able to make a couple of guess but they would be just that.:( Where do you live? maybe we can help you find a vet at least.

Eastern Oregon, I appreciate the help :)
