does silkworm poo get a greenthumb

i took silkworms out of the container and dumped their crumbs {if you will }on a paper plate was thinking how it kinda looked like potting soil could this be a good thing to mix with potting soil ? Please dont respond with the what if the cham eats the dirt stuff.

But what if the cham eats the dirt? :p J/K had to do it. I personally think it would stink from the wetness of the misting. Not sure though
 
It could work, but the Nitrogen level in the poop could be too high, or too low for the plant.
 
Once upon a time I thought silkworm poop would make good fertalizer and tossed a bunch in a plant pot (not a plant in a chameleon cage). It grew mold. It now goes outside on the compost pile!
 
Ive had the same experience, i dumped Horn poop on a plant that was rehabilitating from my cham cage outside and it grew nasty white mold
 
I use worm poo :D
I have a huge bin full of red wiggler worms that i feed and they make this rich black earthly smelling poo called worm castings, i put them in my plants for my chams
