Does she look healthy?

I haven't owned any chameleons in several years and was thinking of getting back into the hobby.
I found quite a good deal for a complete setup with a 8month old female veiled chameleon, and have only received some pictures. This is her. I'm wondering if she looks healthy to you. I'm slightly concerned about her darker feet and nose, and possible swelling in her joints. I will have to get my hands on her to see if she's eggbound, but doesnt appear to be in the picture.

Does she look healthy to you guys?

No she doesnt.

The swelling is a big concern. It could be any number of things, gout, infection.

her arms look a little odd too, so there could be some MBD too.

Okay, thanks.

I'm also concerned that he hasn't sent me any pictures with her full tail, and there may be issues with it's tip.

The whole things felt kind of sketchy, and this is just the kicker.

Thank you.

Very welcome.

Yea I wouldnt risk her. she seems very ill, and its going to take alot of vet visits to even get her mostly healthy.

If you ar looking to buy a veiled soon, and you are in the US, I currently have hatchlings available, which can be shipped in about 2 more weeks.

:)

Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately I'm north of the border.

I have a supplier that I can get good quality hatchlings from, but this included the cage and most of the supplies I'd need.

I'm currently building a large custom cage, but I can't finish it until the weather gets a bit warmer and I can properly seal it with Polyurethane. This was just to get the ball rolling a bit sooner.

Thanks anyway!

To me it looks like she has mbd. Her feet and legs are very misshaped. There's way too much swelling going on there.
