Alright, i have a female veiled she is a little over 1 year old but very very small. For the last couple of days i noticed she looked a little bigger and is a medium green. She doesnt go in her cage but to eat so i havent seen her on the ground and she hasnt been on the ground in my room either just when she runs over to her climibing wall. Today at dinner i noticed she looked like an egg! Does she look egg bound to you guys?

I would say she looks plump. I would allow her to have access to a lay bin 100% of the time. if she is Egg bound is a matter of how long she has been with eggs. I would get her a bin and watch her close. I have seen a lot of veileds passing away from being egg bound, so it is important to get them into the vet as soon as something is wrong, dont wait.

I am making her laying bin tomorrow once I get the supplies. She just had an xray a month ago thats why I was so shocked to be honest. Thank you for your help!

Alright, so she has had 2 egg laying bins for over a week now, she is very dark and cranky and seems to be more active (which is funny because she climbs on everything!). I have been feeding her less crickets (about 4 a day) and some extra reptiworms (4 a day) and hornworms (2 a day) to keep her hydrated and full of calcium but yesterday i noticed that she is "wheezing" a lot. In essence taking huge breathes in through her mouth, as if she is hissing. I dont know if this is normal. I want to take her to the vet, and plan on it, but i was just wondering if this is normal? She still loves to sit on my shoulders or my shirt and loves to hang out with me, As you can see in the picture. And she eats and drinks normal (but ive been giving her the hornworms just incase)

Just wanted to know your guys opinions on the inhaling thing!
Thanks! :)

No. Her mouth looks great. No runny sticky mucous. I hand fed her a hornworm this morning and it felt normal sticky and moist.
