Does my decor look okay?

I just added a bunch of stuff to my cage. Before it was just the ficus in there, I added the twisted wire vines (these are safe right?), the branches green off of a birch tree, and the boston fern in the corner. You wouldn't believe the quantities the ferns grow in in my yard. I think i'm actually going to add another smaller one in the other corner. I still need to thoroughly clean the branches and the ficus and repot it in organic soil, but overall, how does it look? Do you think I need to add anything else? Once I'm done decorating this cage, i'll only have a few things like supplements, a digital thermo/hygro and little stuff like that and then I'll be on the market for a Nosy Be.

It is a nice start. I would add many more horizontal vines/branches. You may want a little more foliage as well. The plants will grow in nicely though.

So far it looks awesome. I would advise what the other person said. Maybe hang a fake vine off of one of the sticks, or wrap a vine around it or something. Just a little more foliage would help. Maybe one or two more little branches and you should be good to go

Do you mean like leafy vines or like climbing vines?

Raise your plants up by putting an upside-down pot under them. This will put the foliage up higher where the cham will be, and once the plants start hitting the top of the cage, you can remove the extra pots.

I don't really like petco, but this is what you can kinda hang and attach to your vines up top to make the foliage more dense.

And maybe add some more thick or viney horizontal passages to make it easy for your chameleon to get around.

Okay I get the Idea of what you mean, I think I'll get a hanging pothos and put it up there instead of going artificial. I also potted a few more ferns for the bottom, I'll post pics a little later after I'm done fighting over that nosy be mentioned earlier.

Here's an update on the cage. I replaced the fern in the back for a thicker one with more fronds and I also added a smaller one in the front, But now i'm thinking I might replace it with a slightly bigger one. I think once I find something to raise the ficus a little higher like nick barta suggested and add a few more highways up top, I'll be good to go. For some reason this pic makes the lower region of the cage look a lot less dense with foliage than it really is, maybe its the white floor.

Thought I would just share this pic of a fence line in my backyard, as you can see, its starting to look barren with all the fern harvesting ive been doing (gotta love Florida). Oh, and on the left, you can see a little bit of the patch of red hibiscus growing wild back there.

that is a cool backyard! Don't ever lose your chameleon or you will never find him!!! Are you new to chameleon owning? I see you have a beautiful cham in your avatar. Is that yours???

Actually, 3 years ago I bought a 3 month old Nosy Be. Unfortunately he died after I had him for like 3 or 4 weeks. I now believe it was because I was using rep-cal w/ D3 5 days a week as recommended by the breeder. The chameleon in the avatar was the sire to that chameleon.

That backyard would be an awesome place to have an entire colony of chams, I love it!......your cage is looking pretty good also, but yes more vines or branches to climb on.

Speaking of chams in the backyard, I have this cage that me and my dad build like 7 years ago. Its a little overgrown but its still solid. I've kept possums, raccoons, armadillos, squirrels, lizards, aquatic turtles, box turtles, & native snakes. The only ones I really kept as pets long term in there were the box turtles and snakes. Including the only wild corn snake i've aver seen (and caught), didn't know they could be so mean.
