Does Locale matter for Breeding?

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about breeding my male ambilobe and wanted to ask, when breeding chameleons, does the locale happen to matter at all? Is there a higher receptivity rate if they are from the same locale or does it not matter?

thanks!

There are some people who are negative about "cross breeding". If you are planning on selling them than mixing is not recommended. As purity is important to the collector of specific locales or anyone who might want to use a male/female for breeding purposes from one of the baby's you provided. Honesty is important when doing so.

Receptiveness is not really a factor as a Panther is a Panther.

Its said that crosses of certain locales may not be possible and that some produce weak hatchlings....but I don't know if this has been proven out or not.
