does cham shed look normal

I got the right UVB bulb about 3 months ago but I think he still might be having problems with his shedding. It has taken him about a week or too to fully shed after i bought the light.

It looks like he's just getting older and starting to shed in parts, instead of having a full body shed. The older they get the more they shed in patches and the longer between sheds. The adults can spend weeks just shedding one area. He looks healthy!

Do you know how hot it is under his heat lamp? Also, what sort of bulb are you using in the heat lamp? I think if it were a burn it would show on his casque too, but best to be sure. 🙂

it was about 85 just in his basking area but I noticed him opening his mouth so I moved it up higher so now its about 78ish. I am not sure what kind of heat bulb exactly, but I have a pic of it
