Documenting bloodlines

There has been some mention of documentating bloodlines when selling chameleons. Can anyone tell me if there is some kind of pedigree chart used or an "official looking" document that guarantees the bloodline of chams that you sell? Since I have some eggs in the oven I want to be sure that the babies that I sell all come with "papers".

I have been looking online to see if there is anything useable and I haven't found much. Family tree charts only account for small family groups, not groups of 30+ offspring! LOL

Thanks

I don't know of the 'official' documentation needed to guarantee the blood line, but it would be GREAT to find out. However if not already used, I could recommend using Herp Care Software which is a more simplified version of Mezcal that keeps track of all of your records. I've had nothing but great luck with it! Having written records IMO is the best way you can go, and for me pen and paper just wont cut it :D The Herp Care Software is available at http://www.thegeckocam.com/

Maybe we could get one going through the keepers on this forum? I think most serious breeders are at least familiar with the site now (in North America anyways)...it would be a time consuming project, but well worth it in the end.

Thoughts?
