Do you think my chameleons' eggs are fertile

When I go her (12-26-09) I was told that she was a boy. About 3 days ago she became gravid and laid 12 white eggs. So obviously I realized she was a girl. She was kept with 3 others, so Im pretty sure atleast one of them was a male since they were all supposed to be males. So my question is does anyone think they are fertile?

P.S. I put all the eggs in a coffe can with dirt ( I covered them with a little bit of dirt) and have them at around 75 degrees. I mist them every other day and check the temp daily.

Howdy Ashley,

I'm glad that you took my advice and made it over here to this site :).

I think it is reasonable to assume that the eggs are fertile (nice and white) and to treat them as such. Others will chime-in on this too, maybe with more details about "fertile or not".

I've got to dash to work right now but I'm sure that you'll find help here from the other members. They'll be able to help with tuning-up your incubator container with how to stabliize the humidity so that things are not too wet or out of the proper temperature range etc.

Please let us know more about your chameleons. Some gentle tuning there might be useful too :).

Even though this doesn't relate to your egg question, this is always helpful with chameleon husbandry tuning: https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/
