These are optional, you could use natural sticks/vines from outside.

You will need calcium w/o D3 as well, and a multivitamin.
Jacksons still need supplements to balance their systems out, but not in the larger levels given to panthers and veileds. For a jackson, Plain calcium 1-2 times a week, calcium w/ D3 once a month, and multivitamin once a month.

Yes, you will HAVE to have some sort of device for "misting" water.
A jacksons will need more water than most chameleons.
If you are not at home during the day, an automatic system can be used. A dripper should still be used as well;)
If you have any other questions please ask!

U won't be sorry with a mist king. It's a must in my book. No way I'll hand mist. I'm not at home during the day and don't want to even think about it. The starter one is pretty cheap. $99

has anyone ever used or heard of the "exo terra monsoon"

i am liking the price and idea so i was just wondering.

Yes I have one and so far no problems since september. Just wish it came with more spray nozzles.

Got mine from LLLreptile.com i believe

I would suggest a Mistking or an Aquazamp with a sec or minutes timer for an automister. Or if you are able to mist by hand several times a day you can just buy a gallon bug/weed sprayer from Lowes or Homedepot.:D

spray bottles is fine for drinking but hard to keep humidity up . jacksons require a bit more humidity than other species . id suggest live plants home depot has lots for cheap like pothos schleffra and ficus i use umbrella which pretty much covers the whole terrarium on a 2 by 3 cage but the sale all different sizes . id also suggest a thermo/hygrometer to check humidity levels jackson range in a 70 - 80% range so they like it moist. i use a cheapo humidifier i sit next to her cage and it humidifies enough to keep that range and still keep my panthers at a 60% range so live plants and humidifier other than fake u will still need to mist for drinking 2-3 times a day for around 2 minutes a mist live also benifits there too . the beads of water last longer on live plants longer than fake good luck

make sure u perch the basking at a good distance from screen with a 75 watt could burn chams. i use a 50 watt regular house bulb works just the same and doesnt burn so hot!

I see you are a Packer fan;) Do you live in Wisc.? Humidity is a real problem here in the winter. You may have to cover 3 sides of your cage to keep levels good

change? All a pretty similar husbandry. Just small differences in feeding and housing. Panthers are a less irratible species, and their fun and colorful. Mine seem a bit more energetic as well. pretty much anything u need to know on different species is in a care sheet u can find on this forum as well as the rest of the internet. Id suggest if your new make sure u are able to keep your cham healthy with a well balanced diet and your monitoring his drinking and eating habits once u get it down with one ur pretty much able to raise others. what is your chams diet, how much is he eating daily are u using calcium and calandering the days u use your reptivite and cal with d3. If your looking for good product go to the sponser sites on here and check out repeshy products i use their caluim daily supplement their bug burger gutload and kilgours dino fuel . and store bout calcium d3 and multivitamin. jacksons are a harder species to raise they require a bit more attention. so once u get that down u should be good to go!

i agree with davonat i live in kansas city missouri we have great humidity during summer but winter is hell and when u crank the heater you dry the place up . What are your humidity readings packer?

seriously consider getting live plants, it helps with humidity, and im sure your soon to be cham will thank you for more green stuff to hide in.

the exoterra vines and A++ products if you ask me, ive got to have at least 50 of them. and theyre pretty easy to mount to the screen with a bit of wire. you can make sythetic bendable vines, but its messy and time consuming, id recommend just buying the damn things.

and that way you can make ideal walkways that look natural with different size vines.

plants are a must! Ficus, Pothos, or Schefflera are all great, just a matter of preference. I totally love the Schefflera. Lots and lots of leaves and very hearty. BTW, I live in OH and have the same winter vs. summer issues! Pain in my butt!
