The thought just came to me.. i was told dust every day with calcium w/out D3 and every 2 weeks with a multi vitamin and calcium w/D3.. sooooo....am i supposed to dust every single feeder with calcium without D3? or is it just dust one feeding a day?

I dust all feeders with calcium and calcium with d3 once a month and vitamins monthly. I use the reptile Nekton Rep. My feeders are given a variety of foods from raw veggies (carrots, kale, corn ect) , flaked fish food (OSI) , brewers yeast, bee pollen, rice/grain mixture i make for my parrots, spirulina powder. Just try to keep a variety going. Ruth

What type of cham?
What type of prey?
Usually, it's calcium Witout vitamins most days, and vitamins a few times a month (on several feeders that day, but not necessarily all feeders)

I dust every feeding with calcium w/o d3, calcium with d3 twice a month and multivita twice a month.

this is what i do.. and he's a Panther Cham. 10 weeks old. and feeders are crickets, roaches, and once in a while meal worms.
Thanks for the help guys.

When I dust, I will usually just dust all of them very lightly. You don't want your crickets, roaches, worms, etc., to be fluffy white, you just want them to be a little paler. Or maybe have just a few speckles of powder, depending on the stickiness of your supplement brand.

Or (and this is for when he's older) if I'm feeding an adult male who doesn't eat a lot or every day, I may take the big roach he's due and dunk the butt in some calcium, so there's a fair amount on there. Again, not fluffy white caked on, but more than usual. And then I know he's getting the equivalent amount of powder but on one feeder, instead of 10, or whatever a baby is eating.
