Wow. I would hope that a vet wouldn't hold him that hard. It is really hard to tell in the pictures what it even looks like. If you could try to take a few clearer pictures I think that would help us to help you better.
About bruising in general, we have not experienced it with any of our chams. I think some of the other member would have a better idea whether or not it is possible in a chameleon.

How long ago was the vet visit?
Why did the vet need to force feed him?
Did he receive any types of medication?

Just a few questions to answer to get a better understanding of the situation.

Also try to take him out of his cage to get a clearer picture...if he doesn't like to be handled try using a branch or a towel maybe.

I'm trying to get a better pic, but he's not being really helpful. :p the spot is pretty big in comparison to his body. It looks like he turn black because he was pissed and that one spot didn't turn back. I'm calling the other Exotic Vet in the area and seeing if they actually have cham experience. Cuz i think the vet i saw last time doesn't know anything about them

no, he wasn't! The spot seems to be faded today, so i think it was just a bruise. i'm looking into another vet in the area. he was the closest one (1/2 hour away :()
